No. 19 St. Joseph Overpowers Blue Devils in Football, 24-0
The No. 19 St. Joseph (Metuchen) High School Falcons burst through an inflated green helmet and a haze of smoke, ready to attack the Westfield Blue Devils under the Friday night lights in Metuchen on September. 26. The St. Joseph’s student section, dressed in all white, roared as the sun set. Westfield matched St. Joseph’s in grit, but was unable to overcome the power of St. Joseph’s transfers, which allowed the undefeated Falcons to dominate the Blue Devils, 24-0.
