Blue Devils Nip Raiders in 2 OT; Halt New Providence in Soccer
Reasserting dominance in Union County girls soccer has, at least, been a goal of the Westfield High School Blue Devils this season and they certainly seem to be on the right path. The Blue Devils, despite having several key starters unavailable due to injuries, edged the hosting Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders in double overtime on September 16 then upped their record to 5-0 with a 2-0 victory over the 4-2 New Providence Pioneers at Gary Kehler Stadium in Westfield on September 18.
