I am proud to submit this letter in support of Jeremy Berman for mayor. My family and I moved to Westfield in the summer of 2020—a time that was anything but ordinary. With the world in the midst of a pandemic, we spent a lot of time at home – offering the opportunity to get to know our new neighbors. One of the first people to welcome us was Jeremy Berman.

Over time, our neighborly chats with the Bermans turned into meaningful conversations. Jeremy learned of my interest in starting a custom dessert company. He actively listened to my ideas, and offered guidance— helping me think through pricing strategies, product sourcing, and local marketing and logistics. Today, I run a thriving baking business, and I appreciate Jeremy’s encouragement to make it happen.

Jeremy’s supportive stance with me reflects his broader approach to business in Westfield. He understands the importance of ensuring businesses succeed in our town – be it existing or new ones – and will promote policies that do just that.

Jeremy Berman is a person of integrity, generosity, and vision. I trust his instincts not just because of how he helped me personally, but because he consistently shows up for others with that same thoughtfulness and commitment. He leads by example, and would serve our town with the same passion and dedication he brings to his everyday interactions.
