Swan Edges AJ Jersey, 19-18, In UC 60+ A Division Game 1

Coming off a stunning upset of the second-seeded Linwood Boys in the semifinal round of the Union County Senior 60+ A Division Playoffs, the third-seeded AJ Jersey boys had their sites on doing the same in Game 1 of the championship series against topseeded Swan Hotels & Suites at Memorial Field 3 in Linden on August 18. With the one run per inning spot as per league rule, AJ Jersey carried a 15-13 lead into the sixth inning but the Swans answered with six runs then permitted only three runs in the seventh to earn a 19-18 victory.
