Swan Hotels & Suites Rattle Rocky’s Bar in Game 2, 31-20

Spotting the opponent one run per inning as per league rule, the topseeded Swan Hotels & Suites had to make sure that it stepped up its offense when it faced fourth-seeded Rocky’s Bar & Grill in Game 2 of the Union County Senior 60+ Softball League A Division playoffs at Memorial Field 3 in Linden on August 11. Swan’s offense did indeed come alive in Game 2 and since it had already beaten Rocky’s, 20-12, in Game 1, they advanced to the championship round with a 31-20 triumph.
