Westfield 14U Edges Kenilworth For USABL Championship, 7-4
The Westfield 14U baseball team had a classic battle with the Kenilworth Boro Ballbusters for the United States Amateur Baseball League (USABL) Summer Championship that began in Kenilworth on July 29 and was eventually completed on July 30. The Westfield 14U squad after trailing, 41, grabbed a 7-4 lead in the top of the seventh and faced a base-loaded situation before the remainder of the game was shifted to July 30 but prevailed, 74, for the crown.
