St. Ignatius, St. Anthony Split Doubleheader at Forest Road
Midseason bragging rights were on the line when St. Ignatius and St. Anthony clashed in a St. Bart’s Oldtimers Men’s Softball League doubleheader at Forest Road Park in Fanwood on July 22. Solid pitching in Game 1 kept the scoring low but St. Ignatius managed to hold down St. Anthony, 5-2. In Game 2, as the home team, St. Anthony turned the tables and prevailed 4-1.
