Dorothy Anne Sobin
November 15, 1936 — June 18, 2025

Dorothy Anne Sobin, 88, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Dorothy was born in Bronx, N.Y., and lived in Brick. Dorothy never missed a chance to go anywhere — India, Japan, Hong Kong, most all of Europe, as well as numerous states.

Her one vice was gambling. She would tell you when she won but never when she lost. She was a good poet just like her father was. She never shirked at trying something new.

Dotti will be missed!

A graveside service will be held today, Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Fairview Cemetery in Westfield. A celebration of life will take place in the near future.

Colonial Funeral Home, 2170 Highway 88, Brick, is in charge of the arrangements.
