Blue Devils Edge BrH2O, 8-7; For Section Boys Lax Crown
One year ago the Westfield Blue Devils scored a goal in overtime to defeat the Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers, 11-10, in the semifinal round of the North Group 4 playoffs en route to beating Ridgewood, 10-9, in overtime for the North title and Eastern, 17-10, for the overall Group 4 crown. This time, the top-seeded, No. 7 Blue Devils hosted the third-seeded, No. 11 Panthers for the North crown at Gary Kehler Stadium on June 10 and emerged with an 8-7 victory.
