SCOTCH PLAINS — The planning board on Monday agreed to explore whether the senior-housing property on Lake Avenue is suitable for consideration as an Area in Need of Redevelopment, but it was emphasized multiple times that the property’s use will not change and that the 30-yearold complex will remain in operation.
