Deegan 15, Rocky’s Bar & Grill 11 The Roofers went ahead for good in the 4th inning. The Roofers were led by Anthony Santorelli and Sal Martino (3 hits each); Pat Nigro, Don Miller, Art Paradise, John Rachko, Bruce Evans and Willie Jackson (2 hits each). Something very unusual was every put out that Deegan made was in the infield; none in the outfield. For Rocky’s, Carl Herman, Angelo Puerari, James Massarelli and John Llano had 3 hits each.

Kenilworth VFW 20, Angry Joe’s Apparel 1 The Vets pounded out 29 hits. Leading were Ralph Genova (2-3, HR), Greg Hartnett (3-3, HR, 3 runs) and Glenn Sytko (3-3, 3-run HR). Also contributing were newly acquired Bill Daniels and Rocky Pencinger with 3 hits each. Billy Daniels picked up his first 60+ win on the mound. Angry Joe’s did turn a triple play.

Swan Hotel 20, Awnings Galore 10 Doug Fischer was back on the hill for Swan Hotel to lead the Swannies. Brian Latham, Marty Marks, John Garced, Fischer, Bernie Maguire, Danny Difedele and Tom Baldowski all contributed three hits. For the Shadsters, Bruce Crawford (single and two walks), John Campanella (2run 3B).

Linwood Boys 22, Yogi’s Boys 14 Using balanced hitting throughout the lineup and solid pitching from Jim Donaghue the Linwood Boys topped Yogi’s Boys.

Swan Hotel 24, Kenilworth VFW 11 Jimmy Jimenez took the mound for the Hotel and also led the offense with a 3-for-3 night. Also contributing three hits each were Nick Russo, James Nardello (HR, 3B), Danny Difedele, and Doug Fischer.

Linwood Boys 14, AJ Jersey 9 Joe Sarica, Eddie Rodriquez and Chris Kaminski propelled the top of the Linwood lineup with 3 hits apiece.

Awnings Galore 23, Yogi’s Boys 5 Shadesters – Rich Traub (3 RBI) and pitcher Tommy Pasko (4 RBI) both went 3-for-4 with a HR and 3B. Tom Straniero (3-for-3, HR, 4 RBI), Bruce Crawford (3 hits). Paul Newton, Rick Demsey (2B), Richie Polonitza and Tom Beninato had 2 hits each, while a homer by John Campanella (3 RBI) and a double by Dave Kirsch rounded out the Awnings offense.

Deegan Roofing 21, Angry Joe’s 10 Deegan’s Art Paradise (4 hits) and John Rachko, Don Miller, Lou Balistriere, Anthony Santorelli and Walt Korzeb (had 3 hits each). For Angry Joe’s, Brian McDermott and Scott Graham were 3-3, while Tom Rutkowski had 2 hits and Ed Quinn blasted a HR.

Rocky’s Bar & Grill 23, DeBellis 8 AJ Jersey 19, DeBellis Associates 0
