The Westfield baseball Blue Devils blasted St. Benedict’s, 17-0, in five innings on May 1 then passed Summit, 6-3, on May 2. Winning pitcher Jack Doherty tossed four innings against St. Benedict’s and allowed one hit, while striking out three. Brendan Kelly pitched the final inning and struck out three. Grant Como went the distance against 7-9 Summit, allowing nine hits, three walks and two hit batters, while striking out six.
