Cougars Hold Off Late Rally By Marlboro Mustangs, 8-7
Making it four wins in a row turned out to be more difficult than expected when the Cranford Cougar baseball team hosted the Marlboro Mustangs at Memorial Field in Cranford on April 23. The home team carried an 8-4 lead into the top of the seventh inning but the Mustangs reared up with three runs and had the tying and go-ahead runs on base but the Cougars managed to escape with an 8-7 victory.
