No. 19 Raider Laxers Tripped Up By Pope John Lions Laxmen, 8-6

An unbeaten record was on the line for both teams when the 5-0 Pope John Lions came down from Sparta to match sticks with the No. 19, 5-0 Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School boys lacrosse team at Wexler Field in Scotch Plains on April 9. The Lions grabbed a 3-1 lead in the first quarter and that margin held up in an 8-6 victory over the Raiders.
