With the score tied 2-2 in the bottom of the seventh inning, sophomore Cassie Conforti blasted a grand slam home run to earn the 4-0 AL Johnson High School Crusaders softball team a 6-4, victory over the 3-1 Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders in Clark on April 8. Two days later, the No. 19 Crusaders entertained the Westfield Blue Devils and ended the game in six innings with a 13-3 triumph.
