Y Men’s Club Donates $20K To Westfield Area YMCA

WESTFIELD — The Westfield Area YMCA is honored to have recently received a donation of $20,000 from the Westfield Area Y Men’s Club. The majority of the funds will directly support the Y’s Strong Kids+ Campaign, which provides financial assistance to individuals and families experiencing bona fide financial hardship in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside or Westfield.

The remaining amount will benefit other YMCA initiatives, including the rolling Capital Improvement Project, youth and teen programs, senior programs, and Adapt-Ability — social and recreational opportunities for adults age 18 and older with special or adaptive needs.

“The Y is incredibly thankful for their continued support and commitment, which plays a key role in expanding access to vital programs for people of all ages and abilities,” read a statement from the YMCA. “This valued partnership will continue with the Y Men’s Club serving as a major supporter of the upcoming 20th Annual Golf Classic on June 9, 2025.”

For more information on how to support the Westfield Area YMCA Strong Kids+ Campaign and other initiatives, visit www.westfieldynj.org/give.

The Westfield Area Y Men’s Club is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that raises money for charitable causes. The club’s mission is to give back to the local community and support organizations, groups and individuals that share its values of respect, responsibility, volunteerism and youth development.

The nonprofit Y is committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships for those who qualify.
