WESTFIELD — Residents have an opportunity to vote for three candidates for available seats on the Westfield Board of Education in the Tuesday, April 15 election. Board President Robert Benacchio and current board members Kristin Sonnek-Schmelz and Mary Wickens are each running for a second term. They are joined by Violetta Watson, who serves as co-chair of the district’s Special Education Committee.
