Blue Devils Defeat Columbia; Slip to BrH20 Girls in Finals
The top-seeded Westfield High School girls swim team had a relatively easy time defeating the fourthseeded Columbia Cougars, 98-72 ( registered score), in the North Jersey, Section 2, Group A semifinal meet at Wallace Pool in Westfield on February 10. The journey was much bumpier in the championship meet as the second-seeded Bridgewater-Raritan Panthers harvested enough points in the final event to earn an 8882 victory at the Raritan Bay YMCA in Perth Amboy on February12.
