I was pleased to see the editorial written by Ron Margulis and John Zebrowski in the January 23 edition of The Westfield Leader. The editorial was entitled “The Importance of Expanding our Tree Canopy for Climate Change, Flood Prevention”. The editorial described the many ways trees can help a town as well as providing some mitigation of climate change. I agree with the editorial.
