Morgan Maloney, daughter of Ruth and Jerry Maloney of Westfield, and Collin McDonald, son of Lee and Ginger McDonald of Lebanon, formerly of Westfield, were married on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at 2 p.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Rockville, Md. Reverend Monsignor Robert G. Amey officiated. Gerald Maloney, Jr., father of the bride, walked her down the aisle. The bride wore a Viktor&Rolf sateen strapless gown with bows down the long train and carried a bouquet which included dahlias, daisies and calla lilies.
Sisters Maeve and Muriel Maloney served as bridesmaids, along with sister of the groom Molly McDonald, Westfield friends Sadie Jezierski, Agatha Magierski and Lena Morello, Texas A&M University friends Carly Thompson, Carlee Crocker and Marla Martinez-Flynn, and cousin Camille Lutskus from North Carolina. The flower girl was 3-year-old Charlotte Kelly of Revere, Mass., the bride’s cousin. The bridesmaids wore various shades of purple and carried long stemmed varieties of the flowers in the bride’s bouquet.
The groomsmen wore black suits with purple ties and included Collin’s Westfield friends Sean Moore, Henry Liddy, Alex Shorrock, Nick Sanders, Evan Steinfield and Alex Bae; the bride’s cousin, Ian Lutskus; sister Maeve’s fiancé, Dan Duarte; college friend McRae Wahl and friend Kevin McEneaney.
Cousins Rob Lutskus, Katie and Sarah Ollenburg did the readings and college friend Kade Flynn read the Universal Prayer.
The reception was held at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, DC. The couple resides in Rockville, Md., where the bride is employed by the EPA and the groom is employed by Syneos Health. They will honeymoon in Turkey in 2025.
