Controlling the boards helped the Westfield High School girls basketball team overcome the Neptune Scarlet Fliers, 49-43, on December 19. The Blue Devils out-rebounded Neptune, 39-27 and senior Catie Carayannopoulos grabbed 10 boards and added five points, including a 3pointer, three assists and a steal. On December 21, the Blue Devils did the same with board control in a 50-35 victory over the Plainfield Cardinals.
