Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad Hosts Blood Drive

CLARK — Christmas is a time for giving. The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad wants to suggest that you give the gift of life. What better gift is there than that? More parties and poor driving conditions along with the usual circumstances create more chances for accidents. Add to this the regular surgical needs and you can easily see why blood supplies need to be replenished during these times.

The Clark Volunteer Emergency Squad (CVES) has scheduled a blood drive through The New Jersey Blood Services Division of the New York Blood Center for Thursday December 26th. Donors will receive a beanie or a pair of holiday socks. Your donation of one pint can save up to three lives because it can be separated into red blood cells, platelets, and plasma.

Adults must wait eight weeks between donations. Donating is safe and easy. The Clark Squad House is located at 875 Raritan Road, Clark and offers private, off-street, lighted parking.

Make someone’s new year very special. Save a life. Donate blood
