County Commissioners Betray Olmsted legacy
Despite the County of Union touting the Union County park system's design by Olmsted Brothers landscape architects, the Union County Commissioners push forward with their plans of habitat fragmentation and degradation of the Clark Wildlife Preserve and Habitat. Despite minor changes, the commissioners still plan to fragment the habitat by cutting down the tree canopy, installing about a mile and a half of bridges and asphalt and aggregate passageways suitable for county-owned vehicles, paved parking, driveways and intrusive boating facilities.
