CDC Transforms Into The Enchanted World of Beauty and The Beast
CRANFORD — Beauty and the Beast has been one of the most beloved Disney Classics since its 1991 release. Known for its iconic soundtrack by Alan Menken, it can be almost intimidating to put on a production of its Broadway adaptation in a local theatre group like Cranford Dramatic Club (CDC). Director and Music Director Howard Whitmore, with Producers Dana DiSpoto and Edgar Hidalgo, and Choreographer Maggie Miller, has brought the enchanted story to life at CDC in the second show of their 106th season.
