I would like to update Garwood residents on upcoming shade tree related activities: The long wait for some Garwood resident to either have a tree stump or dead tree removed from in front of their house, or a new tree planted, will soon be over. The Borough and Shade Tree Board will be letting the contracts for bidding this week, and the work on all three types of requests should begin in early December. These lists are based on all received past requests, but residents who want to make certain that their request is on the list, or may have a new request, can contact me at wnierstedt@ garwood.org to double check.
