CLARK — More than 100 residents gathered in the Clark Township Council Chambers last week for a public hearing on Union County’s plans to renovate the Clark Reservoir. The project — which consists of environmental remediation at the site and the installation of, among other amenities, two boat ramps, gravel walking paths, a two-story boathouse and several parking lots — continues to draw criticism from residents who say that so much change could negatively impact both the natural surroundings of the reservoir and the quiet, residential communities that border it.
