Helen Frank, born in 1930, is a renowned print-maker and painter known for her diverse body of work, including Night at the Met, Cherry Blossoms, A Glass of Guinness, The History of Art, and The Great Hall. Her art vividly portrays the artistic and cultural essence of New York City, while her depictions of the New Jersey shore and boardwalk evoke a sense of joy and nostalgia. Helen’s work, which spans copperplate etching, oil on canvas, watercolor, and collage, also reflects social and political commentary, often addressing themes such as women’s issues, cultural identity, daily life, travel, and sports.
This special exhibition marks an exciting moment for CSM Art & Frame as we celebrate our 30th anniversary. Helen Frank’s presence at the event offers a rare opportunity for guests to meet the artist and engage directly with her work. Helen Frank’s artwork will also be available for sale at the event.
