Blue Devils 3rd, Dragons 1st For UCT Girls Tennis Crown

Kent Place was odds on favorites to win its sixth straight Union County Tournament championship but the Summit (S) Hilltoppers and the Westfield (W) Blue Devils still had hopes of pulling off an upset at Donald Van Blake Courts in Plainfield on October 2. Although there was one minor upset, the Kent Place (KP) Dragons claimed three champions, a second and a third to grab the crown with a total of 88 points.
