Coming off a resounding 42-0 thrashing of New Brunswick that featured five touchdown runs and an interception returned for a touchdown and rewarded Head Coach Shawn Johnson his first victory, the Scotch Plains-Fanwood football Raiders discovered that the road was much rockier when they hosted the Hillside Comets at Tyson Field in Scotch Plains on September 20. The Comets presented a stifling defensive game against the run, while answering with four touchdown runs to grab a 28-10 victory.
