Floraphile Garden Club Holding Pecan Fundraiser

CRANFORD — The Floraphile Garden Club of Cranford has announced the return of its Annual Georgia Pecan Fundraiser, with the addition this year of the Southern Praline Pecan. A sweet and buttery confection with a crunchy Georgia pecan in the middle, this treat is packaged in a 12-ounce, foilwrapped bag. The Floraphile Garden Club also is offering its original three varieties of gourmet Schermer Pecans for $12 a bag. The Fancy Mammoth Pecan Halves come in 16-ounce packages — the club’s largest bag available. The Dark Chocolate Pecans, the club’s best-selling variety, come in a 12-ounce, foil-wrapped bag. The Cinnamon Glazed Pecans have a cinnamon sugar coating with a touch of vanilla and come in foil-wrapped, 10-ounce packages.

To place an order, reach out to Mary Ellen at mecrafts@verizon.net. Orders are expected to arrive by Thanksgiving.

Proceeds from this fundraiser support the Floraphile Garden Club of Cranford and its involvement in multiple community-service projects, including horticulture therapy, community clean-up/beautification programs and civic outreach. Members of the community also are invited to follow the Floraphile Garden Club of Cranford on Facebook and Instagram to keep up with all of its activities.
