Cougars Turn on the Defense, Jolt Rambler Gridders, 21-0

Lessons well learned from the home opener with the Somerville Pioneers paid off for the Cranford High School football Cougars when they hosted the Carteret Ramblers at Memorial Field on September 13. The Cougars’ offense did not get fooled by any defensive maneuvers and opened up necessary holes, while the defense definitely grounded the Ramblers to emerge with a 21-0 shutout.
