Douglas Bombards Deegan In UC Sr. 50+ Game 2, 31-11
Unhappy about their 16-12 loss to Deegan Roofing in Game 1 of the best of three A Division championship series of the Union County Senior 50+ Men’s Softball League, the men of Douglas VW were biting at the bit to get revenge at Memorial Field 2 in Linden on August 15. With the score knotted, 5-5, after three innings, Douglas VW tacked on 14 runs in the next three innings then capped it all off with 12 runs in the seventh to grab an overwhelming 3111 triumph.
