WESTFIELD -- Whenever an administrator, director or conductor leaves a group, there’s a void, a period of adjustment, and a getting used to someone who is the replacement. The Choral Art Society (CAS) of New Jersey has welcomed Dr. John Wilson as its new conductor. Dr. Wilson, in an interview with The Westfield Leader and Union County HAWK, explained he’s been welcomed warmly by the Board of CAS, and the choir’s membership at large. Because he has been involved in New Jersey choral life for almost 20 years, he understands the uniqueness of each group.
