The Westfield Foundation Welcomes New Board Members

WESTFIELD – At their recent Board meeting, The Westfield Foundation proudly acknowledged the exceptional service of two past Presidents, Larry Darrow and Corey Wu-Jung, as well as Trustee John Schmidt, whose terms have come to an end.

Under the visionary leadership of Corey Wu-Jung and Larry Darrow, The Westfield Foundation has achieved remarkable strides in both effectiveness and efficiency, laying a strong foundation for the future. Executive Director Katie Curran Darcy remarked, ‘Their leadership has left The Foundation stronger and more forward-looking. John Schmidt’s meticulous attention to legal details will be deeply missed.’ She added. ‘As we celebrate their legacy, The Westfield Foundation remains committed to building on the solid groundwork they have laid, continuing our mission to make a meaningful impact in our community. We will continue this work with the help of three new Trustees: Dave Collum, Dr. Kelly Cleary and Glen DuMont.’

Dave Collum is a 24 year resident of Westfield, where he still resides with his wife Jennifer. They raised their two children Brendan and William in town, utilizing the Westfield public schools. Dave has been in Banking his entire 33 year career. He spent 18 years at BNY Mellon and has spent the last 8 years as Chief Operating Officer of Peapack Private, which is the wealth management division of Peapack Gladstone Bank. He is Treasurer of the Westfield Memorial Library and serves on the board of the Westfield Library Foundation. He also serves as Treasurer of The Fairview Improvement Association in Lake George, New York. Dave helped run the St Helen’s CYO and In parish basketball programs and the Westfield Flag Football program for a number of years. He was a volunteer coach for various teams in multiple sports throughout the years and is currently a basketball referee serving various local leagues. Dave graduated from Fairfield University in 1991.
