SPFHS GOOD CITIZEN AWARDEE...Members of the Westfield Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) presented the Good Citizen Award to Hudson Krupa, a senior at Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School (SPFHS), on April 19. Hudson was given a DAR certificate, lapel pin and the Margaret E. Jaffe Good Citizen cash prize. To qualify, a Good Citizen must be in the senior class and have the qualities of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism to an outstanding degree. The Good Citizen is a national program in the NSDAR, and SPFHS is one of four select schools participating in this program with the Westfield DAR Chapter. Pictured, from left to right, are: Barbara Benko, Westfield Chapter vice regent; Julie Diddell, NJDAR Good Citizen state chair; Hudson Krupa; Lisa Kane, DAR Good Citizen Chapter chair, and Joan Kaiser, DAR Good Citizen Committee member.
