Losardo and Zimmerman Announce Bid for Reelection

It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my intention to seek reelection as Mayor of Scotch Plains Township and I’m proud Councilwoman Ellen Zimmerman will once again be my running mate.

Since taking office, we have worked tirelessly to implement policies and programs to improve the quality of life for every resident. We unequivocally believe that Scotch Plains residents are better off now than they were four years ago, and that our record shows this. However, there is still much more to be done, and we are committed to continuing this journey with you.

Our Township is safer because we have invested in our Police and Fire Departments. We have strengthened our community by prioritizing parks, preserving Scotch Plains’ history, and creating recreation programs for all ages. Most importantly, we have made these substantial improvements while keeping our municipal tax rate low.

Over the coming months, we look forward to seeing you at local events and engaging residents in every neighborhood. Together, let’s continue to make Scotch Plains a place we are proud to call home.

Josh Losardo and Ellen Zimmerman
