WESTFIELD — The Miller-Cory House Museum will present “Keeping Warm on an 18th Century New Jersey Farm” this Sunday, February 25, between 2 and 4 p.m. Visitors will learn about the challenge of keeping warm in the 1700s. The program will include a presentation of strategies for keeping warm on the farm. There will be a craft and story time for children in attendance as well.

Admission is $5 for those ages 13 and older; $4 for ages 3 to 12, and free for youngsters under age 3.

Open select Sundays from September through May, the Miller-Cory House Museum is located at 614 Mountain Avenue, Westfield. The mission of the museum is to keep early American history alive through re-creating and interpreting the activities of daily life on a farm during the period 1740 to 1820. Its goals are to teach, provide understanding, stimulate curiosity and encourage lasting interest in the time period.
