Cranford Residents Seek to Honor Guy Borges
CRANFORD — A group of current and former Cranford residents have joined forces to encourage the township committee to change the name of the Orange Avenue Pool to the Guy Borges Memorial Pool in honor of the facility’slongtimemanager,whopassed away in December of last year. Mr. Borges managed the pool for over 30 years from 1974 to 2000.
