In December, as students were preparing to leave for winter break, another swastika — one of many over the past three years — was found on the wall of a bathroom stall in Westfield High School. The incident, like each of the others that preceded it at the high school, intermediate and elementary schools, was reported to the local police department while school administrators were left once again to try to reassure the community that everything was under control.
