The Cranford High School girls basketball team outscored the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Raiders, 10-1, in the second quarter to grab a 17-12 halftime lead en route to a 48-40 victory on January 23.Two days later, the Cougars crushed the Oak Knoll Riyals, 40-23, then on January 27, the 12-5 Cougars began with a 19-2, first quarter run to defeat the ALJ Crusaders, 47-28.
