Blue Devils Settle Pioneer Academy, 64-53, Edge South Plainfield Tiger Cagers, 59-56
The Pioneer Academy boys basketball team from Clifton visited the Westfield Blue Devils on January 11 and after being battered in the first quarter managed to leave with a 6453 defeat. Three days later, January 14, the Blue Devil boys got a good lead on the South Plainfield Tigers then managed to limit a fourth-quarter charge to claim a 59-56 victory at Kean University.
