WESTFIELD — The Westfield Area YMCA will host a free Senior Healthcare Forum featuring speakers from Arbor Terrace, a home healthcare agency, Unicity Senior Advisors and a local eldercare attorney. It will be held on Wednesday, January 17, at 6 p.m. The event will take place at the Main Y Facility, located at 220 Clark Street, Westfield, and will be open to the community. The following topics will be discussed: The differences in senior living communities and levels of care; how to stay safe with home healthcare; services offered by Geriatric Care Managers; and the legal documents necessary for proper estate planning.
