WESTFIELD – Westfield Community Players (WCP) will start the new year with God of Carnage, a dark comedy by Yasmina Reza, translated by Christopher Hampton. This will be their second show of the 2023-2024 season, their 90th in the Westfield area. The play opens Saturday, January 13. Billed as a “comedy of mannerswithout the manners,” the play begins when two couples meet to discuss an altercation that resulted in one of their sons injuring the other. At first, the meeting is cordial and civilized. But, as the meeting progresses, the parents become increasingly childish and the meeting devolves into chaos.
