WESTFIELD — The Westfield Area YMCA invites the community to dive into the holiday spirit at “Swim With Santa” on Saturday, December 16. This event will take place at the Main Y Facility, located at 220 Clark Street, Westfield.

Participants choose a 30-minute session between 2 and 3:30 p.m. to splash around with Santa and his elves. A parent or guardian must accompany any child in the pool if under the age of 6 or unable to swim independently.

Registration may be done online at westfieldynj.org or in person at the Welcome Center. Proceeds benefit the Y’sAnnual Support Campaign, which ensures that no one who lives or works in Cranford, Garwood, Mountainside or Westfield and is experiencing a bona fide financial hardship is denied the opportunity to participate at the Y. The non-profit Y is committed to strengthening communities through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Financial assistance is available for YMCA programs and memberships for those who qualify.
