Three Graduate From Tufts Summa Cum Laude

MEDFORD, Mass. — Tufts University awarded more than 2,800 degrees across all schools during its ceremony commemorating the accomplishments of the Class of 2023.

The following three local residents each graduated summa cum laude from the university.

Melanie Litwin of Scotch Plains, who received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology.

Massimo Modica of Fanwood, who received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.

Colin Elliott Makes Bryant Pres. List

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Bryant University has recognized Colin Elliott of Westfield for a commitment to academic excellence with inclusion on the Spring 2023 President’s List.

The President’s List is an academic distinction reserved for Bryant’s highest achievers, who earn a GPA of 4.0 for at least 12 semester hours of work.

Founded 160 years ago, Bryant University delivers an integrated business and liberal-arts education. It enrolls approximately 3,700 graduate and undergraduate students from 38 states and 49 countries. For more information, visit www.bryant.edu.

Bryant U. Recognizes Four on Dean’s List

SMITHFIELD, R.I. — Bryant University has recognized four local residents for their commitment to academic excellence and achievement by naming them to the Spring 2023 Dean’s List. They include Colin Elliott of Westfield, John Stellakis of Scotch Plains, JasonTannenbaum of Fanwood and Aidan Trenery of Scotch Plains.

Jason Mongiovi On Widener Dean’s List

CHESTER, Pa. — Widener University congratulates Jason Mongiovi of Fanwood for achieving Dean’s List status during the Spring 2023 semester.

The Dean’s List recognizes fulltime students who earned a grade point average of 3.50 and above for the semester.
