Thursday, November 16, a resident of Jerusalem Road reported being the victim of fraud. Someone unknown to the victim withdrew a large amount of money over a period of time through the victim’s credit union account. This matter is under investigation.
Friday, November 17, the Exxon gas station located on Route 22 West was burglarized in the early morning. A male was seen entering and stealing several items. Ten minutes prior to this burglary, the Exxon on Route 22 East was burglarized. Both incidents are under investigation.
Friday, November 17, residents of Brandywine Court reported their residence was burglarized. Nothing was taken in this incident. This matter currently is under investigation.
Friday, November 17, the Sunoco gas station was again the victim of theft. A customer purchased $100 in gas and fled prior to paying.
Monday, November 20, a worker from Shackamaxon Country Club reported that her motor vehicle had been the target of vandalism.
Wednesday, November 22, a resident of Scotchwood Glenn reported being the victim of fraud. An unknown person opened a business account in the victim’s name withAmerican Express. This matter is under investigation.
Friday, November 24, a resident of the 400 block of Myrtle Avenue was the victim of catalytic converter theft. This matter is under investigation.
Monday, November 27, a resident of the 300 block of Acacia Road was the victim of theft. Someone stole a FedEx package from his front porch. This matter is under investigation.
Wednesday, November 29, Fresh Mart reported a theft overnight. Someone stole the bread delivery from the front of the business. This matter is under investigation.
Friday, December 1, a resident of Coldstream Court reported a case of fraud. It appears someone used the victim’s Social Security Number for the Anchor Rebate Program. This matter is under investigation.
Sunday, December 3, the QuickChek reported fraudulent activity. A patron passed a counterfeit $20 bill. This matter is under investigation.
Sunday, December 3, during the night, officers attempted to locate two individuals, dressed in all black and wearing ski masks, who were peering into parked motor vehicles on Paff Place. Officers engaged in a brief foot pursuit but lost sight of the suspects. Numerous residents reported this at the time. This matter is under investigation.
Monday, December 4, Louis A. Padilla, 45, of Edison was placed under arrest for numerous warrants. Padilla was turned over to the Bridgewater Police Department.
