FAIRVIEW TEAMS WITH WFD TO FIGHT HUNGER...Fairview Cemetery is supporting the Westfield Fire Department (WFD) in its effort to feed local families. Sandy Antonelli, a trustee at Fairview Cemetery, presented Tom Bottini of the WFD with a check to directly support the purchase of groceries for the community. The firefighters have joined ranks with their union, the NJ Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association, to combat food insecurity by pairing with local religious groups and civic organizations. As a result, many families in need will receive food boxes. Last year, 131 families were beneficiaries of this generosity. Anyone wishing to support this effort may make checks payable to Westfield FMBA Local No. 30, to be dropped off at the fire department through Friday, December 8.
