Mayor Brindle has accused the republican candidates of spreading misinformation. This, in fact is misinformation, and has been addressed previously in the candidate statement from all republican candidates. The mayor is promoting so-called truth but is using selected facts such as when she said our population today is lower than that in 1970, and uses this data to support the need for One Westfield Place. While the fact is true, she is disingenuous. Let us look at the population numbers in Westfield over the past 60 years.
