Bruce Charles Anderson, 89, of Raleigh, N.C., entered God’s eternal care on Thursday, September 21, 2023, in the comfort of his home.
He was the loving husband to Frances (Vaccaro) Anderson, with whom he shared 69 years of marriage. Born December 19, 1933, in Brooklyn, N.Y., Bruce was the son of the late Charles Joseph Anderson and Brynhild (Ekberg) Anderson.
Bruce graduated in 1951 from Westfield High School in Westfield, N.J., and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Lehigh University in Pennsylvania. He served as Vice President at Mutual Benefit, and later, Home Life Insurance, before retiring in April 1996. Bruce was a member of The Presbyterian Church in Westfield, N.J.
In addition to his loving wife, Frances, Bruce is survived by his two sons — Bruce Jr. of Raleigh, N.C. and Wesley of Bedminster, N.J. He also leaves behind four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Bruce was preceded in death by his sister, Joan.
Following cremation, a service will be held at the convenience of the family.
