Union Catholic Viking Jimmy Wischusen ran away with the Varsity individual title and his team captured first ahead of the Westfield Blue Devil boys at the Union County Cross-Country Championships at Warinanco Park in Roselle on October 19. The Viking boys took the 1-3-4-5 spots and finished with a total of 26, while the Blue Devils filled the 2-6-8-9-10 slots to total 35. Summit (Sum) took third with a total of 89, Elizabeth (E) was fourth at 129 and Oratory Prep (OP) was fifth at 137.
